Dr. Charles Cook is a seasoned family medicine physician with a deep commitment to the HEB community. Having established his practice in 1982 following the completion of his medical school and residency, Dr. Cook has been an integral part of the local healthcare landscape for over four decades.

A dedicated family man with a wife, four children, and a grandson, Dr. Cook brings a compassionate and understanding approach to patient care. His expertise extends beyond traditional family medicine. As an FAA Senior Aviation Examiner with specialized training in aviation medicine, he provides comprehensive care for pilots. Additionally, Dr. Cook is a certified BioTe practitioner, offering innovative hormone optimization treatments.

Committed to giving back, Dr. Cook volunteers his time at the GRACE clinic in Grapevine and has been recognized for his dedication with the Volunteer of the Year award in 2012. His philanthropic spirit extends internationally, with participation in medical mission trips to Mexico and Panama.

Dr. Cook’s passion for teaching is evident in his role as an associate professor of Family Medicine at UNT/TCOM and the University of Texas at Galveston Medical School. He enjoys mentoring the next generation of physicians and has mentored an average of six medical students annually.

With over three decades of practice, Dr. Cook has built strong relationships with his patients. Many of his early patients now bring their own children to EvershineMed, creating a legacy of trusted care within the community. His focus on family medicine extends beyond the clinical setting, as he prioritizes building strong doctor-patient relationships and addressing the comprehensive healthcare needs of his patients.
